Cabin on the Prairie Review: Cabin on the Prairie. This is the first volume of "The Frontier Series Illustrated," a two-book set consisting of The Cabin on the Prairie and Cabin in the North Woods or The Young Pioneers of the Northwest, written in 1870. These books were first recommended to me in 2001 at the Ohio Home Educator's Convention by Victor Storkel of Berean Bookshelf of Tijeras, NM (he must have had some advance notice of their republishing).
